‘Wordshark Online’ is the current edition of Wordshark
- Yearly subscription model
- Access from school as well as home
- ‘School’ plans (allowing unlimited teacher users) start at 20 student users at £360+vat per year
- Smaller, ‘Individual Teacher’ plans also available (allowing just one teacher user)
Includes:
- Placement test (can be skipped/re-taken)
- Automatic progression (can be re-set)
- Set Work option, choosing from:
- Published courses (see further below)
- Or own lists (including option to add definitions & courses)
- Free Play, giving students the freedom to choose what they work on
Published courses to choose from (10,000 words/sentences/images)

- View time spent on games
- View time spent on games in a leaderboard
- Detailed group/individual student progress reports for teachers
- Progress reports for students
