More recently he ran his own software company in the USA and worked as a consultant for such organisations as IBM, and TSB. She continues to work part time as a SEN (special Educational Needs) teacher in a mainstream London school.

Acknowledgements

Wordshark and Numbershark owe much to the advice and support of a great many specialists. In particular we would like to express our thanks to members of the British Dyslexia Association and especially to Jean Hutchins.
We should also like to thank the late Dr Beve Hornsby for allowing us to base certain word lists on those of her Alpha to Omega scheme.
Last but not least we would like to record our thanks to the many children, parents, educational psychologists and teachers who have provided suggestions and ideas.
